Lloydminster RCMP makes arrests after a break and enter
Lloydminster, Alta. – On May 1, 2025, around 9 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP responded to a 911 call reporting a break and enter in progress at a business on the West end of the city. Lloydminster RCMP members, assisted by Alberta RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) and Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS), were deployed. Upon arrival on scene, police arrested one suspect. Two additional suspects fled the area in a vehicle, striking a police vehicle during their escape. No officers were injured.
A coordinated search led to the arrest of the two fleeing suspects a short distance away. In total, three individuals were taken into custody. The investigation remains ongoing. An update is anticipated once charges are laid and more information becomes available.
