Lloydminster RCMP makes arrest following assault in East Lloydminster
Lloydminster, Sask. — On July 19, 2025, Lloydminster RCMP responded to a report of an assault that occurred in the east end of Lloydminster. Upon arrival, officers located a female adult victim who had sustained significant injuries. The individual was transported to hospital for medical treatment. An immediate investigation was launched with police quickly identifying and locating two suspects in connection with the assault.
As a result of the investigation, Lloydminster RCMP arrested Yolanda Scarlett (38), a resident of Lloydminster, who has been charged with aggravated assault. A second individual, a male youth, has been arrested and charged with Assault causing bodily harm, Overcoming resistance by choking and Uttering threats.
Scarlett was brought before a justice of the peace and released on conditions, to appear before the Saskatchewan Provincial Court in Lloydminster on Aug. 18, 2025, while the youth was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court.
