Lloydminster Little Theatre Announces Auditions for The Dining Room by A.R. Gurney

Lloydminster, SK/AB — Lloydminster Little Theatre is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming fall production of The Dining Room by A.R. Gurney, set to take the stage in November.

Auditions will take place at Center Stage Studios (4420 50th Ave, Lloydminster) on:

We are seeking 6 to 10 adult actors (ages 16+) to portray a variety of roles in this ensemble comedy-drama. The Dining Room is a heartfelt collection of overlapping scenes, each set in the same dining room, capturing the shifting traditions, tensions, and stories of family life. No prior theatre experience is necessary — just enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new!

In addition to actors, we are also looking for backstage volunteers to help bring this production to life, including a Stage Manager, lights and sound operators, set builders, costume and props crew, and general backstage support.

Lloydminster Little Theatre will also have a booth at the Community Registration Night on Wednesday, September 3 at the Servus Sports Centre. Stop by to chat with us, ask questions, or sign up to get involved.

We are also offering a three-week drama class for those interested in sharpening their performance skills or simply trying theatre for the first time. Classes will be held on Saturday evenings from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Center Stage Studios (4420 50th Ave, Lloydminster) on the following dates:
