Lloydminster, Alta.- On December 6, 2025, Lloydminster First Responders held the 3nd annual Kick off to Christmas Toy and Food Drive in support of The Olive Tree and The Salvation Army in Lloydminster. Both agencies provide a vital service to those in need in Lloydminster, and help hundreds of families during the holiday season.
The grand total collected was:
- Over $2000 in cash donations.
- 3700 lbs of food.
- Approximately $8,000 in toys donated.
Thank you to Real Canadian Superstore, Walmart, Canadian Tire, and the City of Lloydminster, for the partnership and donations towards the cause. Thank you to all our local media who helped spread the word about the event, as well as volunteers from the Lloydminster Youth Council who braved the cold to assist!
Most of all we wish to thank all residents of Lloydminster and surrounding areas that donated to the cause. Your generous gifts will help many children and families have an enjoyable Christmas season!
