Lloydminster RCMP responds to report of assault and vehicle theft
Lloydminster, Sk. – On Nov. 19, 2025, Lloydminster RCMP responded to a report of an assault and theft of a motor vehicle. Police initiated an investigation and quickly located the stolen vehicle. RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) were deployed, and a track led officers to a residence in the area of 48 Avenue and 32 Street. Father Gorman School was notified of the heavy police presence in the area, however the assessment of the situation revealed no risk to the school.
The residence was contained while investigators obtained a warrant to enter the home. Once the warrant was executed, three individuals were arrested inside. Two of those individuals were released on conditions pending further investigation. The third individual, identified during the ongoing investigation, was later arrested.
As a result of the investigation, Amanda Ironstand (40), a resident of Lloydminster, was charged with assault with a weapon and possession of property obtained by crime. Ironstand was brought before a justice of the peace and released on conditions, to appear before the Lloydminster Provincial Court on Dec. 15, 2025.
